Attention Norwood Residents and Birmingham Citizens!
The Norwood Resource Center will be offering a FREE Walking/Run program to residents of Norwood and the public every Thursday from June 18th Thursday, September 24th. This program’s purpose is to create a healthy and active community and also prepare for the community Boulevard Blast 5K in Historic Norwood that will take place on September 26th on the Historic Norwood Boulevard.

Free Tax Return Preparation for Qualifying Taxpayers
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to people who generally make $52,000 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.Read More
